I have lived long enough to know that the storms of life don’t last forever. You may have had one of the biggest years of your life. Maybe you shed some tears, the enemy has unleashed every weapon it has on you, or maybe you’ve been standing in a place of readiness, waiting, believing, and expecting for a breakthrough and nothing has happened.
One of the greatest keys I’ve learned that will unlock your breakthrough is to let worship precede your breakthrough.
In Matthew 8:2-5 (NKJV) it says,
And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying,
“Lord if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Now this Leper was an outcast, untouchable junk. No one wanted him, he was officially separated from society. For years this man lived with this condition, yet on this day he heard that his breakthrough was coming to town. He could have easily begged Jesus for the miracle but instead he threw himself at the feet of Jesus and worshiped.
This Leper was determined to get his breakthrough and he knew worship would open the door to his miracle.
Don’t let anything stop you from pouring out your worship before Jesus. Don’t let the giants in your life silence your worship. Don’t stop throwing yourself at the feet of Jesus. Jesus is always willing to heal, restore, mend, save, redeem, and breakthrough in any area of your life.
